A former voice and piano student at Richland College, Cheyenne knew as a young child that music was her calling. Her earliest and fondest memories include sitting at her fathers feet as he played and sang at the piano. As a teenager, Cheyenne’s love of music blossomed while studying piano under her grandmother, Alice Davis. Her talent for performing garnered attention so quickly that during her junior year of high school she was awarded the Paderewski Medal by the National Piano Guild.
Since 2007 Cheyenne has been the lead singer of a professional party band called the Roof Raisers. Cheyenne also performs and travels with various other bands in DFW such as Mr. Inez, The Wonders, and Spinout. Cheyenne resides in Denton with her husband John and her puppy dogs, Sophie, Whiskey and Diesel, and her boss cat, Conrad Shady-Cat III.

That’s a toughie! I’m more likely to gravitate toward a particular piece of music or an album vs spending a lot of time listening to one composer. I’ve always been attracted to anything with horns and especially love The Planets by Gustav Holst.
Since I was a child I have loved The Wizard of Oz.
