Hunter started playing guitar when he turned 12 years old, and he was immersed in a variety of musical genres. He spent his teen years learning to play acoustic guitar styles such as folk, fingerstyle, and bluegrass as well as electric guitar and bass guitar. His love of music and desire to improve quickly propelled him forward and by age 17, he was playing in an All-State level jazz band called the Metro Praise Youth Orchestra. 



During college, Hunter studied vocal education after having a positive experience in his high school choir. He views singing as one of the most transformative things that a person can focus on, and he wants to help students fast-track their personal growth so they can enjoy life to the fullest.
